Rapid Release Technology
Chiropractic care at Radiant uses the Rapid Release Technology instrument. With this instrument, chiropractic care can help to release tension caused by scar tissue and other adhesions found within the muscles and other soft tissues of the body.
Rapid Release Technology uses targeted high speed vibration to penetrate deep into tissue. Sessions are quick and comfortable with lasting results. Most patients at Radiant will respond within a few sessions. Scar tissue forms in the body as a temporary patching mechanism for wounds caused by injury, surgery, trauma or repetitive stress. Scar tissue fastened to tissues not normally connected is referred to as an adhesion. Adhesions can cause pain, numbness or even limit range of motion. Old injuries, repetitive stress or surgeries can result in adhesions that connect multiple layers of tissues together in shoulders, elbows, wrist, hip, knee, ankle, and the spine. These adhesions can choke and bind nerves, muscles and tendons.
Rapid Release Technology relaxes soft tissues, often relieving aches and pain caused by old injuries, repetitive stress, and surgeries.
Rapid Release Technology resonates with scar tissue. The frequency of the instrument triggers the tonic vibration reflex which instantly releases tension. These effects are unique to Rapid Release Technology. Muscle fibers require ATP to contract and oxygen to release. The Actin and Myosin filaments at the cellular level of muscles require oxygen to release. Without ample oxygen, a certain percentage of your muscle cells never unlock after you use them. Tight muscles restrict blood flow, making them stay tight and stiff. Rapid Release Technology relaxes tight muscles, thus increasing circulation.
Rapid Release Technology found at Radiant gives our chiropractor a specific and effective tool to treat a wide range of aches and pains resulting in better overall results for our patients. Fast treatment sessions equate to less downtime from pain and a quicker recovery. This means our patients are returning to their normal lives with significantly less pain.
